Description of the UGM-8

“High fire rate, mobile LMG that excels at creating suppressing fire and pushing enemy positions.”

Who says an LMG has to slow you down? Combining high mobility with a high fire rate, the UGM-8 is ideal for players looking to keep pace with their teammates while offering suppressive fire.

This thing chews through ammo, so be prepared to feed it. Boost your ammo capacity with one of several different Magazine options or grab Fully Loaded or the Scavenger Perk to prevent going empty in the middle of a fight.

Strengths of the UGM-8

The UGM has a very limited recoil if you use the right loadout. It’s super easy to use!

The time to kill is also one of the best in the game, no matter the range and with the 125 bullets magazine, you’ll be able to down on average 10 ennemies before needing to reload.

The UGM is basically an M13 with no recoil and great time to kill.

Weaknesses of the UGM-8

The main weakness of the UGM is the bullet velocity, that is ok, but not the same level as some competitor weapons like the STG or Automaton.

How to unlock the UGM-8?

The UGM-8 was introduced with season 4 battle pass and was available for free at tier 31. Now that the season 4 is finished, you need to unlock the UGM with a challenge:

  • Get 15 bullet penetration kills.

Use FMJ perk to shoot through walls and you’ll get the the 15 kills quite easily, especially in Multiplayer!
