The Automaton Assault Rifle was once the Warzone absolute meta thanks to low recoil and great damage. After several nerfs and buffs, the Automaton fell into a place where it’s still great but not able to compete with the absolute meta king like the NZ41. Still, this is one of those easy to use gun that any player can have fun with. Let’s deep dive into the best loadout for the Automaton!
Automaton Recoil Pattern
As you can see in my video analysis embed at the bottom of this article, the Automaton is mostly suffering from Vertical recoil and almost no Horizontal. This means that like the Bar, we need to focus the attachments in reducing the vertical recoil and make it even easier than it is by default.

- Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6X
- Stock: Anastasia Padded
- Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
- Magazine: Sakura 75 Round Drum
- Hinterer Handgriff: Polymer-Griff
- Perk 1: Tight Grip
- Munitionstyp: Verlängert
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
The two most important attachments here are the underbarrel and the rear grip. After thorough testing, the Carver Foregrip is the best underbarrel for vertical recoil control. And in the Automaton case, the Polymer is the one with the best recoil control effect. Indeed, Polymer + Tight Grip make a great combo for recoil during sustained fire.
