Nikita vs Volk vs AS44, qual é a melhor espingarda de assalto de médio alcance para Warzone temporada 4 recarregada?

With the rise of smaller maps like Fortunes Keep and Rebirth Island, paired with the recent buffs to snipers, the meta might be shifting a little bit towards Assault Rifles that behave nicely for mid to short range fights. I’m talking about those ARs that have an insane time to kill but require more recoil control and therefore are not really viable for long range on maps like Caldera but are extremely powerful on small maps.

I’ve identified 3 of those guns: Nikita AVT, AS44 and the Volk. For each of them we will investigate the average time to kill, mobility and the recoil. We will end the article with our final thoughts on the ranking and of course multiple loadouts for each of them.

Loadouts used for comparison

All three guns can be built for either short range, sniper support or mid range primary. Please note that for this analysis I’m using the loadouts that are built for mid range primary and therefore the most suitable to use on maps like Rebirth Island or Fortunes Keep.

Average Time To Kill

Let’s compare the average time to kill of the Nikita AVT, AS44 and the Volk. Note that even if those numbers seems way better than the current long range absolute meta, it’s because they are not factoring either recoil or bullet velocity. This is way the KG M40 is the absolute meta right now, thanks to great TTK, no recoil and insane bullet velocity. So, let’s deep dive into the time to kill values.

And here the results are surprising. I was truly expecting the AS44 to be the Time To Kill king. However, we can see that the Nikita AVT is matching the AS44 time to kill and is even going further for the damage drop. This means that if we look only at the time to kill, the Nikita AVT is the winner, then AS44 and then the Volk slightly behind. Of course, there are ways with different barrels or magazine to reduce even further the TTK of those guns, but it would make them not usable for mid to long range fights.

Average Downs Per Mag

As mentioned in my previous close range meta article, the average downs per mag stat might be more important than the actual time to kill when it comes to game modes like trio or quads.

Once again here, we have a clear winner: the Nikita AVT. With one mag until 40 meters you can on average down 5.2 enemies, and this is huge!

Recoil comparison

The other very important element to look at while comparing those guns is the recoil. Indeed, what’s the point of having the best theoretical time to kill in the world, but missing all your bullets and therefore having an horrible realist time to kill? All our tests are made during the same game, at the same distance and using the same loadouts than the ones used for the other stats.

Now, let’s say that the buff to the Volk was a very good buff for it. The recoil is now super easy to control, which makes it an excellent choice for both fortunes keep AND Caldera! AS44 is also surprisingly manageable, mostly thanks to the Gorenko mag that helps with the recoil.

Finally the Nikita AVT, that was the best until now, is becoming a little bit more difficult to control than the 2 others!

Mobilidade

Once again, the Volk has an insane mobility compared to the AS44 or the Nikita. The difference is huge, and especially when it comes to ADS Strafe than will make you win your fights!

Final thoughts – which one is the best?

It’s between the Volk and the Nikita. AS44 is a little bit behind on all criteria: recoil, ttk and mobility!

And let’s be honest, the Volk is just so much fun to use right now thanks to the crazy mobility and low recoil. In my opinion, even if the Time To Kill and Down per mag is better with the Nikita, the Volk is taking the crown of the best mid range Assault Rifle for Warzone season 4.

Now let’s face it, all three of those guns are excellent choices for Fortunes Keep or Rebirth Island!
