The best STG 44 Warzone Loadout! Full recoil optimization and best attachments!

The STG is now officially more than back! After i did my previous analysis, we’ve seen a rise in the pick rate of the STG and it suddenly came back in most meta ranking of the community influencers. I’d like to think that i played a role in this new meta for season 4 reloaded.

However it’s clear one of the main downside of the STG against the KG M40 is the recoil that can be a little bit hard. In this article we test all the underbarrels and rear grips in order to minimize the recoil and make it the most usable.

Stock: VDD 34S WEIGHTED
Magazine: 7.62 GORENKO 50 ROUND

Perk 1: Sleight of Hand

One comment about the stock. As previously mentioned, the VDD 34S weighted is better than the 27 Precision mostly because you will get a great movement speed with the weighted. And the movement speed is one of the best argument of the STG against the KG M40 so you don’t want to lose that.

Also, regarding the Perk 1, unlike the other Assault rifles, the STG does not have any recoil controlling perk such as Brace, Hardscope or Tight Grip.

Objective of this analysis

The main goal is to make the gun usable at any range. In order to do that, we need to reduce the horizontal recoil to make it as straight as possible, but we also need to reduce the vertical recoil. The challenge relies on the attachments that are specialized in one of those recoils (ex: grooved, m1930 Strife Angled for horizontal) usually come with some downsides like an ADS penalty or an impacted movement speed. The goal is therefore to understand if those attachments are worth the downside.

Best underbarrel for the stg 44 in Warzone

Carver & M1941 have almost the same vertical recoil amplitude. So we can conclude that the Carver is therefore not worth it due to increased ads time and more horizontal bounce.

Then like for most Assault Rifles, it’s between the m1930 Strife Angled and the M1941 Hand Stop. M1930 is the best for horizontal recoil, but the difference with m1941 is so little that i will recommend to go with m1941 in order to get best of both worlds with no downsides. Indeed the M1930 impacts the Sprint to Fire time and goes against the concept of the STG.

Best rear grip for the STG 44 in Warzone

Polymer has a good vertical recoil but the initial shots that are crucial for the overall feeling of a long range gun are not close enough and could make the gun weird. Pine tar also is awesome for the vertical recoil but comes with an increased ADS time of 11 ms and is not worth it.

Grooved removes the horizontal recoil to make it the straightest line of all rear grips, and Hatched is pretty much the exact same. This is why i recommend to go with Hatched that has no downside when the Grooved grip is impacting both Sprint to fire time and ADS time.
