Ubisoft Forward was replete with exciting news about XDefiant, with the forthcoming playable session taking center stage.
The Open Session is on the horizon, set for a three-day stint on diverse platforms such as PC, Xbox Series X | S, and PS5. The best part? It will be available for players worldwide.
Schedule for Open Session
Prepare yourself for the Open Session commencement, pegged for 10 AM PT/7PM CEST on Wednesday, June 21st.
The Open Session will continue until 11 PM PT on Friday, June 23rd / 8AM CEST Saturday, June 24th.
XDefiant’s Launch Timeline
XDefiant is on the launch pad, ready for lift-off later this summer, subsequent to our Open Session. Following this test, we will announce the final launch date. For a sneak peek, here’s what to anticipate from our initial phase – the Preseason.
The Preseason will span six weeks and will showcase the factions and maps you’ve grown fond of during the Insider Sessions and Closed Beta.
Year 1 Roadmap
Post Preseason, XDefiant will operate on a seasonal rhythm. Every quarter, players can look forward to new weapons, maps, events, and a new faction.
Year 1 will introduce a total of:
- 4 additional factions
- 12 new weapons
- 12 additional maps
