Champions of Caldera is the new game mode that Warzone just released. The goal with this mode is to create a better experience in Caldera for solo players! It’s more fast paced and clearly more fun than the usual solo battle royal.

What is important to understand is that you start all the games directly with your loadout! And this means your choice of guns is extremely important considering the fact that all your ennemies will have loadouts too.

The best Long Range loadout for Champions of Caldera: STG-44
Despite the recent nerf made to the STG-44 damage range, this gun remains the true unique absolute meta for solos, and especially in Champions of Caldera where the long range capabilities are not that important due to the fast pace. If you are looking for alternative to the STG, I would recommend you to try the Bar or the Automaton.

The best Close Range Loadout for Champions of Caldera: Type-100
In solo, the Type 100 is by far the best SMG thanks to a time to kill much better than any other close range options. If you don’t like the Type 100, maybe start by trying a different barrel to have more control. I would recommend the Sakura 196mm Light if the 134mm Rapid is not doing it for you.
Otherwise, the H4 Blixen or the Armaguerra might do the trick for you.
