Recent buffs to snipers are allowing the sniping playstyle to come back a little bit into the meta, especially for Rebirth or Fortunes Keep where the up to 100 meters headshot one shot is sufficient in most of the cases. Snipers are now divided into two main categories: light snipers like the Vanguard Kar98k or Swiss K31 for small maps and heavy snipers like ZRG 20mm, Gorenko or 3-Line for Caldera.
In this article we will focus on Assault Rifles for sniper support, and later this week we will publish the same ranking but for SMGs. This category is probably one of the most balanced right now, and there are around 20 guns that could have make the cut to this top 10 best sniper support ranking. 10. Vargo S Sniper Support Loadout

Vargo S is the new Assault Rifle introduced with season 4 reloaded. Even if it’s not a real meta contender for long range, it can still hold a good place for sniper support and mid range fights.
9. XM4 Sniper Support Loadout

With all recent nerfs, the XM4 is coming back into the meta and is a serious contender. Great time to kill, low recoil and low flinch will result in you having fun!
8. Cold War AK47 Sniper Support Loadout

One of my favorite weapon in Warzone history. Similar to the XM4, the Cold War AK47 is one of those gun that will always be an excellent choice for sniper support!
7. M13 Sniper Support Loadout

Since season 4, the M13 is 100% part of the meta for long range, but in my opinion it’s even better for sniper support. This no recoil option is your go to if you struggle to find your easy to use Assault Rifle!
6. Cooper Carbine Sniper Support Loadout

No need to present the Cooper Carbine anymore. More known as a long range option for small maps, it’s also incredible with the rapid fire barrel and compresses round for sniper support!

Surprisingly better than Vargo S from Vanguard, the Vargo 52 is one of the best alternative to Vanguard weapons since it was released!

Similar to the M13, the Kilo is 100% back and i love it. Insane stats, low recoil and the overall great feeling of a Modern Warfare gun, you cannot be disappointed with it. What is holding the Kilo to be the long range meta is the damage drop at 47 meters that makes it not that competitive after this range. But this is not an issue for sniper support!

For experienced players, the AS44 actually might be the best sniper support in the game currently. If recoil is not an issue, then you can even use the rapid fire barrel to make it a delete machine. I just cannot place it as top 1 mostly cause it’s a difficult gun to handle. Also, you will run out out of ammo quite quickly.
